Enrolling at Brooks Elementary

🎓 Brooks Elementary School Enrollment

Welcome to Brooks Elementary — home to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students! We’re excited to support your family through the enrollment process for the 2025–2026 school year. Please review the steps below to successfully register your student.

 

🔄 Already enrolled at a WUSD school?
If your student is already attending a WUSD school, including Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten, do not complete a new student enrollment. You will be asked to complete the Annual Aeries Data Confirmation process for returning students before the start of the new school year.

 

🏡 Live Outside of Windsor?

If you live outside the Windsor Unified School District boundaries, you’ll need to complete a Sonoma County Interdistrict Transfer Agreement. For forms, documentation requirements and timelines, visit our page called Interdistrict Guidelines for 2025-2026.

To find or confirm your assigned School District of Residence, visit the Sonoma County District and Elective Official Lookup and enter your home address.

 

🗓 Enrollment Opening Date

Online enrollment opens: Tuesday, January 6, 2026

 

 

    1. Click “Enroll a New Student” using the Aeries Online Enrollment system.
    2. Fill in all required student information (including emergency contacts and prior school history).
    3. Upload required documents (or drop them off at the school office).
    4. Submit the enrollment form.

    ⏳ The online process takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
    📌 You may log out and return later if needed.

     

  • You can upload these documents as part of the online enrollment process, or bring them to the school office between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.

    1. Proof of Age & Identity
      • County-issued birth certificate or another valid identification document.
    2. Immunization Records
      • Current record of your child’s immunizations. Additional shots may be required before the start of the school year. You do not need to be fully up-to-date at the time of enrollment.
    3. Proof of Residency (Any 2 of the following, showing parent/guardian name and address):
      • Property tax receipt
      • Rental or lease agreement or payment
      • Utility bill or contract (e.g., PG&E, water, garbage; cell phone bills are not accepted)
      • Pay stub
      • Voter registration
      • Correspondence from a government agency

    ❗️Please note: If documents are not uploaded during the online enrollment process, you must submit them in person. Once submitted online, the system will not allow additional uploads.

     

    • Enrollment is not considered complete until all required documents are received.
    • If your family is experiencing housing instability, foster placement, or is part of a migrant program, your student may qualify for immediate enrollment without standard documentation. Contact our office to confirm eligibility.
